Michele Dross is a ceramic artist based in Athens, Georgia. Michele received a BFA in Ceramics and a BAE in Art Education from The University of Georgia in 2013.

Following graduation and one year of post baccalaureate in Ceramics at UGA, she worked as a production potter for R. Wood Studio, taught art at Gaines Elementary School and maintained a consistent studio practice in ceramics. Michele began working as a ceramic artist full time in the Summer of 2019.

Each piece of Michele Dross Ceramics is one of a kind and handmade from porcelain. Michele’s work is characterized by nature inspired design and line drawings that depict imagined narratives surrounding the interplay between characters of the natural world. Characters, scenes and stories illustrated on her work reference mythology and reverence for the beauty and mysticism of nature.
